WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF CINNAMON
Cinnamon, whose maiden name Dredria DeMaria Pemberton Delsol was on born on the beautiful
Island of St. Kitts on March 4th 1986 to Letisha Pemberton and Larry Delsol the oldest of seven
children and her father’s only child. Cinnamon attended The Academy Primary school and then later
attended the Basseterre Junior high and moved on to Basseterre Senior High, where she graduated with
an impressive seven subjects (three of them being distinctions).
Cinnamon always having a great love for music, increased her interest in music when a young and
aspiring artist from St.Kitts by the name of Jah Fire, approached her about collaborating on his song
entitled “Your Love” on the “Lava Flow Riddim” by Kelvin “D.J Kells” Christopher of the then TTO
Productions/Equator Records. This collaboration was a solid foundation to what would be the start for
her professional career.
Her talent was not only recognize by her fellow artist but by many international Djs and promoters,
Cinnamon soon recorded her first single “Your Man” for popular label Sounique Records out of
Jamaica on the “Blue Gem Riddim”, "Overdrive" and her counteraction to artist Movado on the Split
Personality riddim called "Pon Di Ting (female version)" . Those singles have been a major jump start
for Cinnamon, receiving many airplay in Jamaica, Italy, Germany, England, Africa and Japan. "Pon
Di Ting Counteraction" has already gained over 90,000 views on youtube. Cinnamon also released her
mixtape in Spring 2011 in collaboration with Sounique Records and mixed by top international sounds
out of Italy, Kalibandulu Sounds.
This dancehall artist is now en route to conquer the soca arena, releasing two hot soca tracks for
the 2011/2012 carnival season in her home island of St.Kitts entitled "Let The Rain Come Down"
and "Unity Jam", both which were qualified for the 2011/2012 Beaumont Park Soca Monarch
Competition. Since then she has released "Soca GotYou Crazy" on Viva Caribbean Media music label
and her newest song released December 2012 titled "Mash Up" has made its way across regional and
international waters gaining many airplay in the USA, UK, Grenada, St.Vincent and other neighboring
island. Now she is on a steady road to a successful soca teaming up with producers from all points of
the world to bring fans the fun and addictive soca songs they have learn to love from this talented and
very versatile artist out of St.Kitts.
